CBG's dog inspired me to post this thread. Let's gather our favorite recipes for either food or drink.
RHS's 1 alarm chili: 3 lbs ground beef, 1-1.5 large onion, garlic, chili powder, 2 jalapenos, salt, black pepper, 16 oz can tomato sauce. Cook it all nice and slow-like in a crock pot overnight. The next day, add garlic and other spices to taste. Serve with a cold beer and laugh at your in-laws for whom Pace mild makes their eyes water.

I'm not much of a cook...thank God for the microwave and grill.
Here is one of the few recipes I know...I call it Pork's Pie. (huh huh).
Buy a pie crust...I use the graham cracker ones, but any kind will work. I suppose you could make your own crust, but that sort of betrays the whole slacker, lazy-ass malaise that I champion when it comes to the culinary arts.
You need six hershey bars and a large container of whip cream...I use cool-whip, but you can make your own, though the whole malaise thing comes into play again here. "F" you if you make your own chocolate, if you do then I FORBID YOU from making this pie. It's my pie damnit, and it's at it's maximum level of tastiness when lots of nitrates and preservatives are involved...if you make your own preservatives please list your address, so i can see to it that you receive a beating. This country wasn't built by cookin' overachievers you dick wig.
Anywho, melt the six hershey bars. Dump all your whip cream into a big ass bowl. Pour the melted hershey goodness on top of the whip cream. Beat this glob of confectionary goodness until it is well blended...use some kind of magic mixin' machine not a hand whisp, which requires effort and leads to wrist injuries. A hurt wrist prevents a person from persuing other activities which are more fun than whisping, though both lead to a meringue-like substance being produced.
When your big bowl of crap is well mixed pour it into the pie crust. Place your pie in the fridge for a few hours, till it gets nice and hard...huh huh. Do whatever you like to dress it up, crumble oreos on top, use some chocolate sprinkles, a little caramel isn't bad either.
Voila, Pork's Pie. It is very sweet, very rich and always has you craving more...just like any good pie should.
