I was at the show on saturday night. I was a big fan of Bruce's and Charlie's. I have never been to one of Charlie's shows before, but it was GREAT! I have seen a lot of different "americana" bands, but he was hands down, one of the best. I don't think I quit moving the whole time! He just makes me wanna dance! When he played the cover of Tupelo Honey at the end, I just about died! I was kinda dissapointed that he didn't play Poor Mans Son or My Brother and Me...but what can I expect! He didn't design a set list for me! I will say that I will go to every Charlie Robison show that I possibly can though. Would love to see him and Bruce together...Does he do a lot of covers? |

Yippee!
We have been racking our brain trying to figure out what song that was he played at the end.
Glad you had a good time and welcome to the board. |

I just got married and that was going to be our 1st dance, but the song is like 6 1/2 minutes long! I couldn't fake being a decent dancer for that long!! |

They've been playing Stranglehold and Boys for a couple years now. Nice to see Tupelo added as a new cover. |

Damn.
Did he do "Dead Flower" again too?
He drops bits of old songs as lead-ins into other songs...and sometimes does straight up covers.
Welcome to the board. |

Porky - No, no "Dead Flowers" (or, as I like to call it, "you know that song with something about roses" - HA HA).
Anyway, yes, welcome to the board!! |

I called it Dead Roses too. Porky told me that like three frickin' time it was Dead Flowers and I just kept saying Dead Roses.
Duh. |

Yeah I saw him, too. He was stepping all over everybody. He disappeared sometime during the show, do you know what happened to him? |

Drunk at a Charlie show? Hmmm, seems unlikely. |
